Home and Away
The band have put together a recording quite different from any other previously
issued. Many tracks have been specially recorded but we've included music from
the band's recent trips 'Out of County'. Amongst others, the Youth Band performance
at the Nova Scotia International Tattoo and the winning Senior Band performance
at the SWBBA Contest in Torquay are included. Quite unusual is the inclusion
of original BBC recordings.

Celebration of Youth
This latest recording celebrates a year when the Youth Band regained
the National Youth Title and received invitations to perform at major venues
including the Royal (Stoneleigh) Show, the Dome, at the Royal Albert Hall as
guests of the Cornish Choirs and The 2001 Nova Scotia International Tattoo.
It displays the high quality of their playing and contains works of a difficulty
that many senior bands would avoid.
The recording was made during one and a half days at the local primary school
and the majority of tracks are first 'takes' and contain no editing whatsoever.

Deep Harmony
Many other recordings have been made over the years. Only 3 are currently
available.
The Senior Band recorded the CD at the St Keverne Parish Hall during October
1999. It contains many stirring hymn tunes with old and new arrangements.
Although the youth band has gained most of the recent glory this quality recording
reminds us that the senior band under the baton of Derek Greenwood has made
considerable progress and richly deserves its rapid rise to the first section.
